I wanted to tell you about the launch of a new content project in a highly promising niche. I discovered this niche in the search results about four months ago while analyzing trends, demand, and the growth charts of competing websites.
The niche is very interesting and offers enormous traffic potential. I found a website that started from scratch: its domain was registered in early May, and according to Similarweb, its traffic grew from 0 to 450,000 visits between May and November 2018 — in just six months. That is an excellent result. The website’s LiveInternet statistics are public and show 13,000–15,000 unique visitors per day.
I collected the initial semantics for my website. These are not the detailed content briefs I usually prepare — that would have taken half a lifetime — but rather a list of topics for which I will create briefs later. I came up with around 300–350 topics. I have already prepared briefs for the first 40 articles and found a copywriter who has written the first 20 texts.
I love it when as little time as possible passes between an idea and its implementation. In mid-October, I configured the WordPress theme. While setting up the website, I immediately published the first four articles. They were indexed around October 25–30, and for the following month, those four articles brought in 2–5 visitors per day.
In late November or early December, something finally seemed to click. Several low- and medium-frequency queries began gaining visibility, and the website started attracting 25–30 unique visitors per day. That is a very encouraging result from just four articles one month after launch: http://prntscr.com/lptt5c. This confirms that the niche works and gives me plenty of motivation to keep developing the project.
In December, I plan to establish a consistent workflow and initially publish 15 articles per month, followed by 30 articles — one every day. This will require a substantial investment of time and money. I’ll keep you updated on the project’s progress. That’s how things are going…
