What did I do? The Captions video editing app has a feature that lets you create a digital avatar. I uploaded one of my older videos, and the app generated an AI avatar based on my appearance.
Next, I use AI to generate video topics and write scripts. The app then creates a video featuring my avatar and voices the prepared text. I publish this content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
The quality still leaves room for improvement, of course, but the final result is already pretty decent. My plan is to publish 10 videos per day. Yes, that’s ambitious and a lot of content, but there’s no other way to scale it 🙂
Here’s the rough math. On average, each TikTok video receives around 400 views, while each Instagram video gets about 120. These are all new users coming from the recommendation feeds. It’s still too early to say anything about Facebook and YouTube because I’ve only just started uploading there. The numbers will probably be low at first, so my main focus is currently on TikTok and Instagram.
Let’s do the math: 10 videos × 400 views = 4,000 views per day. Multiply that by 30 days, and that’s 120,000 monthly views on TikTok. For Instagram: 120 × 10 × 30 = 36,000 views. Combined with TikTok, that gives me 156,000 monthly views on videos featuring my avatar — not including Facebook and YouTube Shorts.
In the videos, I encourage viewers to subscribe to my Telegram channel. I’ve also added an invitation link to the bio of each social media profile. People visit the profile, see the link, click it, and subscribe — at least that’s how it should work in theory. By the way, one person has already subscribed from TikTok. Over a year, that would be 156,000 × 12 = 1,872,000 organic views on videos featuring my avatar. Add the other social media platforms, and we can set an optimistic target of 2,000,000 views per year. Not bad at all 🙂
I’ll publish monthly updates here covering the number of views on each platform, profile visits, and how many new subscribers this experiment generates. It should be an interesting one to follow 🙂
