Abuse-Resistant Hosting and Domain Registrar

By Андрей Сорока

Over the years, I’ve replied to hundreds of people in private messages asking me to recommend abuse-resistant hosting and a domain registrar. I’ve tried several hosting providers and eventually settled on one that, in my opinion, is exactly the abuse-resistant hosting provider and domain registrar everyone is looking for. It’s HostIQ. Why did I choose it?

I consider a hosting provider abuse-resistant when it handles different types of complaints from trademark owners reasonably. A hosting provider that completely ignores such complaints is not necessarily a good thing. In that case, the complainant may contact the higher-level registry responsible for the domain extension and have the domain taken away through them. Your hosting provider should be your partner—someone who advises you on the best course of action, what to reply, and what needs to be fixed in each situation.

HostIQ never blocks anything without warning—neither your server nor your domain. They always send an email explaining who submitted the complaint, what exactly they complained about, and so on. That is the most important thing. They also ask you to provide a response. Depending on the type of complaint, you then prepare your reply. How to respond to complaints and what exactly to write is a topic for a separate post. But once you send your response, the complaint is usually withdrawn immediately. For example, you can request supporting documents or ask the complainant to specify exactly what is being infringed on the website—which words or logo are involved.

After some time, the complainant may submit another complaint. You reply again, and it gets withdrawn. This correspondence can continue for a month or even longer. Eventually, they leave you alone. If they contact you again, you can demonstrate that you are making changes, conducting a website review, and so on. Out of 840 domains, I’ve only lost three during the entire time I’ve been doing this—and even those were taken through a higher-level registry. In other words, domain losses have been minimal.

HostIQ does not block your domain, hosting service, or account, unlike many other hosting providers. That is exactly what happened to me with previous providers: they would take down a domain or block a server without sending an email or providing any explanation. I would contact support and explain the situation, only to be told that everything had been blocked and that they were not even going to investigate it. In reality, anyone can submit such a complaint, including a competitor.

I’ve been working with HostIQ for over a year and have registered many domains with them. I spent a month discussing a discount for my subscribers on .com domain registrations. They explained in detail what discount they could offer based on their expenses and business profitability. They broke everything down clearly. If another registrar offers a slightly lower price, it is usually limited by the number of domains you can register, the duration of the offer, or some other condition. They also mentioned that some registrars operate at a loss when offering this particular domain extension.

In my 10 years of working in SEO, I’ve never shared referral links or promo codes. I’ve always been very skeptical about them and whether you could actually benefit from doing so. This is my first time trying it. We’ll see how it goes 🙂

So, a .com domain at HostIQ normally costs between $14.50 and $17, depending on the keywords, as far as I understand. By using my promo code, SOROKA_COM, all your domains will cost $13.50 each. At a volume of 1,000 domains, like mine, that becomes a substantial discount. And remember: this is the price of a domain from a trusted, abuse-resistant registrar with no limits on the number of domains you can purchase. Enter the promo code in the upper-right corner after adding one domain or a batch of domains to your cart. I’ll leave a screenshot in the first comment.

I’m also sharing my referral links for:

Hosting — https://hostiq.ua/clients/aff.php?aff=7752&lid=3

VPS server — https://hostiq.ua/clients/aff.php?aff=7752&lid=5

They’ve also promised me bonuses for this 🙂 So, if you’ve wanted to enter gambling, nutra, or any other niche that requires purchasing large numbers of domains, but the cost of domains and finding somewhere to host your websites have been holding you back—welcome. You get discounted hosting and an abuse-resistant registrar, I receive bonuses, and HostIQ gets new customers. It’s a win-win for everyone. This is one way you can thank me through your activity 🙂

This isn’t a paid advertisement, and I hope that’s clear. HostIQ didn’t pay me anything. It’s a product I personally use and recommend through its referral program. I suggest saving this post.
