Entering the Dating Niche — Attempt No. 2
I’ve launched a website. It’s only a week old, and the niche is the same as during my first attempt. So far, I’ve published one article. This time, I’m focusing on quality rather than quantity. I’m also building my own backlinks to every new publication right away. For now, I’ll publish and promote the articles myself. I want to get a proper feel for the niche, assess the competition, and understand what Google prefers and which content format works best 🙂
I’ve already picked up my first four keywords in Ahrefs, ranking between positions 7 and 80 — it’s a start. First, as people suggested in the comments, I want to feed Google my most useful and highest-quality articles, generate some initial traffic and user engagement signals, and only then scale the project.
My previous attempt was unsuccessful: I published 300 articles and spent around $1,000, but Google Search Console continued to show nothing but zeros. After three months, the project still hadn’t moved at all.
I don’t know about you, but I really enjoy starting something new 🙂
