So, here’s an update on my Indian money site. It initially ranked first, then dropped to second place, and I couldn’t get it back to the top for a long time. I decided to build submission backlinks from websites with a DR of 70+.
I built the links in late April and early May and got them indexed. A couple of weeks later, the pool of keywords started moving from position 2 back to position 1. Revenue increased by around 40%. The website was still generating a decent number of deposits from second place, but the screenshot shows how its traffic gradually increased from 300 unique visitors per day to more than 600.
I didn’t rewrite the content because the website wasn’t under a filter, so I didn’t see much point in doing so. You can’t move from top 2 to top 1 with content alone — you need backlinks. At least, that’s how I see it)
