I Indexed 10,000 Sex Shop Product Pages in Google via the Indexing API
The result was simply amazing. Product pages that had been unable to enter the index on their own for six months and were sitting there as dead weight with the “Crawled — currently not indexed” status finally made it into Google’s index.
To do this, I used a third-party service that submits pages through the Google Indexing API and spent $50. As a result, the number of indexed pages increased from around 900 to 11,000. Google indexed more than 95% of the submitted pages.
I haven’t even made the titles and descriptions unique yet, let alone the page content. The most important thing now is for these pages to remain in the index rather than dropping out later.
There is a chance that, over time, this will lead to more impressions and clicks from the low-frequency queries targeted by these products. In short, I’m very pleased with the result and, as always, I’ll keep you updated on what’s happening with the sex shop 🙂
