Gambling Website Suspended After a Complaint from a Casino Brand
The gambling website that previously received a complaint from a casino brand has been suspended.
However, it wasn’t suspended by my hosting provider. In fact, the hosting provider forwarded my response to the brand. I explained that I couldn’t see any similarities between the brand’s official website and my project apart from the logo. The brand then submitted a complaint directly to the operator of the .bet domain extension, where my website is registered.
The registry operator also told me that I needed to provide a photo of myself holding my passport and a piece of paper with today’s date to get the domain reinstated. Apparently, they’ll restore it after completing the verification. I prepared everything and sent it over right away, so now I’m waiting) Quite a roller coaster.
