December was a record-breaking month in terms of both traffic and sales. Here are the results:
Number of visits: 3,500
Number of sales: 18
Revenue: UAH 41,570
Profit: UAH 15,000
Reinvested in the project: UAH 15,000
Net profit: 0
Part of the revenue was spent on returns. I haven’t calculated the exact amount yet, but it was approximately 20%. I still haven’t found the time to set up proper accounting and track every order, including its status and delivery progress. The estimated profit was around UAH 15,000, although these figures are still approximate. I reinvested all of this money into link building.
The project is showing steady growth. At the moment, most of the work is focused on optimizing product pages and building backlinks. Traffic analysis shows that a significant portion consists of informational visitors coming to the blog articles. I think this explains the relatively low conversion rate.
Most customers order sex toys using cash on delivery. The average order value is currently around $65. The average margin across all products is approximately 90%, while the markup on some items reaches 100%.
I’m planning to add a live chat to the website to convert more visitors into customers and reduce phone calls and conversations as much as possible. We are gradually moving all customer communication to chat.
