Comparing Approaches and Numbers Across Different GEOs
I recently spoke with a guy I’m mentoring in gambling SEO about choosing GEOs. We compared our experience, approaches, and numbers.
What did he do? He launched several brand-focused websites targeting Africa and built a few backlinks. Over three months, all the websites generated more than 600 clicks combined. He earned €3 through RevShare.
To make money in Africa, you need tons of traffic—and I mean tons. Deposits are around $0.20–$0.50, and the conversion rate is terrible. Want to calculate how much traffic you would need to generate €300? Around 60,000 clicks—you could burn out and lose your mind trying 🙂
What’s my approach? I target Tier 1 markets with a €300 CPA. Every Tier 1 click is a potential player worth €300. That’s the whole equation. Yes, the competition is tougher—I’m not denying that. But the potential profit is also many times higher.
Let’s imagine a simple scenario. You have 100 kg of apples. Where would it be easier to sell them and make money—in Africa or Australia? How many African customers would you need to sell the entire batch? Each person might buy just one apple because they don’t have much money. That means attracting and dealing with hundreds of customers. One Australian customer, however, could buy all 100 kg at once 🙂
Those hundreds of customers in the apple example represent traffic in gambling. Where are you supposed to find that much traffic? It’s possible, but difficult. And you still need to buy backlinks whether your website targets Africa or Australia.
That’s my logic—draw your own conclusions 🙂
Wishing everyone plenty of backlinks and top rankings!
