I recently discovered Microsoft Clarity. I installed it on my slot website targeting Brazil, which already receives a small amount of traffic, to see how engaged the users are and what they actually do on the pages.
Here are the results:
22 seconds — average visit duration.
Most sessions last only 3–7 seconds.
An average of 1.5 pages viewed per session—even though I added 60 pages.
Almost no scrolling.
This is the harsh reality: you build a website, write content, add visuals, and put in the effort—but in the end, nobody really cares about it 🙂
What are the conclusions?
I need to change something to make users stay longer, interact with the website, and find it interesting. I don’t know what metrics my competitors have, but if they rank higher, their user engagement signals must be better. Otherwise, they would be ranking alongside me around position 30.
