Guys, Google has officially stated that a website needs to be promoted to rank better. When a webmaster asked whether backlinks could help speed up website promotion, John Mueller replied:
“If you want users to visit your website and see the work you have done, you need to promote it and make it well-known and popular. People will then link to your website and leave reviews, while Google will perceive all of this as signals.”
He did not directly say that you should buy backlinks, but he indirectly confirmed that a website’s backlink profile affects its rankings.
A little earlier, Google published five recommendations for beginners explaining what they should do to get their websites into Google Search. One of the recommendations was: “Please consider hiring an SEO specialist.”
Draw your own conclusions……..
