A dating website built entirely with AI-generated content has unexpectedly started growing. The domain is more than two years old, and all the content on the website was created with AI.
What’s more, I originally wrote just one 5,000-character article and then used the same AI to create rewritten versions of it.
For a long time, the website received around 150–200 unique visitors per day. Then it lost momentum and started declining. However, over the past month, it has grown sharply, with both low- and high-volume keywords moving up.
I haven’t done anything to the website at all.
This is another confirmation that Google rankings involve a degree of randomness and that using AI-generated content doesn’t automatically result in a penalty.
Honestly, I’m not sure what to do with it. If it starts receiving serious traffic, I’ll think about monetization. For now, I’m simply leaving it as it is and watching what happens.
Hugs to everyone 🫂
