Follow-Up on Optimizing Pagination Pages for Geo-Targeted Queries

This is a follow-up to my post about optimizing pagination pages for geo-targeted queries. You can read the first part here: https://t.me/info_site/49. Given the promising results for the first few selected cities, I decided to add more regional capitals and expanded the semantic core to cover 14 cities across Ukraine.

We implemented the pagination strategy less than two weeks ago, and the current results are shown in the attached image. The observations are quite interesting:

• Some queries have found their relevant pages, which are already ranking at the top;
• Some queries lead to the wrong pages—the main parts category page;
• Some pages cannot be found at all for these keywords.

So far, we have only optimized the meta tags. No other work has been done on these URLs: no link building, social signals, or content optimization of the paginated category pages. We’ll see what happens next. I’ll keep you updated……
