Impressions and clicks have started appearing in Google Search Console for another 5–7 pages that I also promoted with my own backlinks — specifically, high-authority submissions.
I still haven’t gotten around to monetizing this project. For now, I’m thinking of waiting a little longer instead of rushing to add affiliate links. I want to reach a stable 300–500 clicks per day first and only then start monetizing the traffic.
People have written in the comments that Google isn’t particularly fond of websites with affiliate links and tends to reduce their rankings.
