I Think I’m Recovering a Gambling Website From Google’s HCU Filter

So, here’s an interesting situation. I have a website dedicated to a chicken-themed slot called Chicken Road. I launched it in March, and it started receiving impressions, clicks, and deposits from the very first days. The conversion rate was good. It’s a multi-GEO website with 40 language versions, and all the content was generated with ChatGPT. As you can see in the screenshot, the website then declined, with impressions dropping almost to zero around April 16 — right when gambling websites were being hit across the board.
What did I decide to do? I rewrote all the content on every page using a new prompt that makes ChatGPT-generated text sound more human. It’s essentially a set of prompting rules that, by the way, one of my channel subscribers shared with me. I’m rewriting everything, uploading the new content, and submitting all the pages for reindexing.
What happened next? The website started coming back to life on June 2. Impressions returned, and it has already received its first clicks. In other words, simply rewriting the content helped. Next, I’ll test this approach on my other websites that were affected by the update. I don’t know whether it will work for every project, but this one is clearly showing positive results. Now I’m waiting for the graph to keep growing and for more deposits to come in. I’ll keep you updated)
Hugs to everyone
