The Experiment Continues — Episode 9

As a reminder, I was building websites with ChatGPT-generated content. They would initially receive traffic and then drop to zero. I decided to improve the content as much as possible, add E-E-A-T signals, and format each publication the way leading media outlets do. Previously, an article consisted of just one image and a wall of text. What did I change?
1) Added 3–5 images to each article, wrote alt text, and included captions
2) Added one video
3) Added a real author from a leading international media outlet and wrote the article in their style
4) Added comments from three real experts
5) Created an audio version of the article so visitors can listen to it instead of reading
6) Added links: 10–15 outbound links to Wikipedia and the official websites of organizations, products, and other entities mentioned in the article
7) Listed all sources and links at the end of the article and marked them as nofollow
8) Added internal links to other articles on my website
9) Further humanized the content and achieved a 100% human score in an AI-content detection test
10) Publish two articles per day instead of uploading them all at once
The result is a solid article. I like it. The impression data and graph are shown in the screenshot. Things have finally started moving. We’ll see whether the website can maintain this momentum or whether everything drops back to zero. I write and prepare all the articles myself, so it’s very time-consuming work.
I haven’t built any backlinks yet, but if the website continues to grow, I’ll strengthen it with submission backlinks. They’ve been working well for me lately.
Hugs to everyone
