Buy German Backlinks: Turnkey Link Building Services
I provide link building services for websites targeting the German market. I can source and place German backlinks individually or manage your entire link building campaign, from competitor analysis and anchor text planning to placements and final reporting.
When selecting German link building prospects, I look beyond DR and standard SEO metrics. What matters more is how relevant a website is to the German market: its language, organic traffic, ranking keywords, audience and overall quality.

How Much Do My Backlinks Cost?
You can order individual link types or have me build a complete backlink strategy for your project. These are my indicative starting prices for the main placement types.
I’ve put together a spreadsheet with available link types, prices and examples. If you need a particular type of German site, niche, federal state or city, message me directly.
Which Backlinks Do I Use for Germany?
I don’t rely on just one link building method. A well-rounded backlink profile usually includes several types of links, with the right mix depending on the project.
Foundational Backlinks
Profiles, forums, comments, directories, submissions and Web 2.0 help build out and diversify the broader backlink profile.
High-Value Niche Links
I use PBNs, niche articles, guest posts, link insertions and outreach to focus on selected pages and relevant audiences.
Homepage, Sitewide & Media Links
I consider these higher-priced formats when ordinary placements aren’t enough for a project or when a specific page or domain needs more focused support.
Not every site needs every link type at once. One project may need a stronger foundation, another may already have thousands of basic links and need more relevant niche placements, while a third is better served by concentrating the budget on a handful of priority pages.
What Counts as a German Backlink?
A German backlink doesn’t necessarily have to come from a .de website. The top-level domain alone doesn’t make a site a good link prospect.
What I Check Before Placing a Link
I assess the site’s language and audience, organic traffic from Germany, rankings in Google Germany, topical relevance, domain history, backlink profile and outgoing link quality.
A genuine German-language .com website with an engaged audience can be more valuable than a weak .de site built mainly to sell links.
.de Is a Signal, Not a Guarantee
A .de domain clearly indicates a connection to Germany, but I treat it as one signal among many, not the sole measure of quality.
What matters is the combination of factors and whether the website is a good fit for the project.
Germany → Federal State → City → Niche
German link building can target several geographic levels — from the whole country to a specific federal state, city and business niche.
Bavaria → Munich
Example of local link building for a real estate project.
NRW → Düsseldorf
Example of local link building for a legal services project.
Hesse → Frankfurt
Example of local link building for a finance project.
Nationwide, Federal State or Individual City?
I build different backlink strategies for businesses operating throughout Germany and companies serving just one city.
Across Germany
For SaaS, e-commerce, services and nationwide businesses. I focus on relevant German-language sites, national media and blogs, PBNs, guest posts and outreach.
Federal State
Bavaria (Bayern), North Rhine-Westphalia, Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, Saxony and other Bundesländer. A publisher’s regional relevance can be an advantage.
City
Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt am Main, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Leipzig and beyond. Local directories, news sites, portals and communities are especially relevant.
Which Websites Are Worth Considering in Germany?
The right German link prospects depend on the niche, but I generally consider several categories.
Business Directories
German business listings, industry directories and platforms where a company profile genuinely belongs.
Regional Websites
City portals, community websites and regional platforms serving a specific Bundesland or Stadt.
Niche Blogs
German-language websites covering SaaS, IT, finance, real estate, automotive topics, travel and other niches.
News & Media
Regional and national media for higher-value placements and digital PR links.
Communities & Forums
In some niches, an active forum or community can be more useful than another random guest post.
PBN / Outreach / Link Insertion
Websites I control and direct arrangements with site owners or editors for new articles and contextual link insertions.
Germany or the Entire DACH Region?
Germany, Austria and Switzerland share a large German-speaking market, but they are not interchangeable when it comes to SEO.
If the target market is Germany, I focus more heavily on German search results and link prospects relevant to Germany.
When to Expand Your GEO
If the project serves Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the backlink strategy can expand to sites whose audience genuinely spans multiple DACH countries.
Lumping all German-language websites together without examining the audience is too broad an approach.
Which Niches Do I Work With?
Over the years, I’ve worked across most major industries. In competitive niches, a handful of random guest posts is rarely enough.
How I Build a Link Building Campaign in Germany
I don’t sell one universal package on the assumption that 100 links will suit every site. First, I need to understand the project, its competitors, objectives and budget.
Get Your Website and Brief
You send me your website URL, services or products, target GEO and approximate monthly budget. For local SEO, specify the federal state or city.
Review Your Backlink Profile
I examine backlinks, anchor texts, target URLs, link types and changes in your backlink profile over time.
Analyse German Competitors
I examine competing sites in Google Germany: their pages, backlinks, anchors, link prospect quality and local relevance.
Select Pages and Keyword Groups
I determine how many pages the budget can realistically support and which keyword clusters we should prioritise.
Build a Budget-Based Strategy
I select link types and quantities, balance lower- and higher-priced placements, and plan a reasonable publication pace.
Prepare an Anchor Text Plan
I distribute commercial, partial-match, branded, URL and natural anchors across the target pages.
Start Link Placements
Links are placed progressively according to the agreed strategy, rather than appearing in one random batch.
Reporting and Scaling
I compile all placements into a report and decide which pages to strengthen next.
I Tailor Link Building to Your Budget
There is no single fixed price for link building in Germany. One client may be promoting a few services in one city, another a large e-commerce site across Germany, and a third a SaaS product targeting Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
That’s why I first ask for your approximate monthly link building budget and then work out what makes sense for the project.
With a smaller budget, I prefer focusing on priority URLs. With a larger one, we can expand the prospect pool, add more expensive outreach placements and gradually scale the campaign.
Why Can German Backlink Prices Vary?
The price of a profile link or simple forum placement usually depends less on the country. Guest posts, outreach, link insertion, PBNs, media placements and established German publishers are a different story.
Basic Backlinks
For profiles, forums and simple submissions, much of the cost comes from the work itself, so GEO tends to have less impact.
Outreach & Guest Posts
Pricing depends more heavily on the publisher, market, niche and the particular German website.
A Market-Specific Plan
If a certain category of German link prospects costs more or less, I account for that when putting together the proposal.
Explore Backlink Examples and Prices
I’d rather show you actual links than just make promises about link building 🙂 My spreadsheet includes available placement types, pricing and examples of link prospects.
If you need German PBNs, guest posts, outreach placements, sites with traffic from Germany or publishers targeting a particular federal state or city, message me. I’ll check what fits your project and budget.

Frequently Asked Questions About Link Building in Germany
These questions focus specifically on the German market.
Do I need backlinks exclusively from .de domains to rank in Germany?
No. A .de domain is a clear local indicator, but a credible German-language .com site with German traffic and an engaged audience may be more useful than a weak .de domain.
What matters more: German-language content or traffic from Germany?
I assess both together. Audience, language, search visibility and topical relevance all matter.
Do I need backlinks from my specific Bundesland?
Not always. For nationwide projects, regional links may not be the priority. For local businesses, regional websites can complement the broader backlink profile.
Is it worth targeting links from one particular city?
Yes, especially for local services. In Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt and other cities, local directories, media, portals and niche sites can be valuable.
Can one link building strategy cover Germany, Austria and Switzerland?
DACH connects German-speaking markets, but search results, local websites and audiences differ. A strategy can cover several countries, but they shouldn’t be treated as identical.
Do I have to pay for expensive German outreach?
No. It depends on the project and budget. Some sites may start with foundational links and PBNs, while others may benefit from higher-value outreach placements.
How many backlinks do I need to rank in Germany?
There’s no universal number. I review the current backlink profile, competitors, target pages and budget before recommending a realistic placement pace.
