Can a single article reach the top of Google purely through continuous updates? Today, I’m launching a 365-day experiment.
I want to test a simple hypothesis: can an informational and commercial article reach the top of Google if I regularly improve it, expand its structure, add graphics and analytics, and turn it into a “living” piece of content that continues to evolve throughout the year?
Compared with competing pages, this is the longest article in the niche. The current TOP results include both websites with articles and landing pages running paid search ads.
Starting data:

I spent an entire week writing it. I created the initial framework, published it on the website, and submitted it for indexing. In the next report, I’ll include a screenshot showing its rankings across the semantic core. For now, all the numbers are still at zero 🙂

If anything improves, I’ll show it here. If the experiment fails, I’ll show that too. A couple of times a week, I’ll publish updates explaining what I changed and where. I’ll record every change in the experiment log. I’m also adding a dedicated hashtag to make it easier to follow the experiment and review its change history.
More experiments are coming—I’ll launch several of them this month. They will run for 1, 3, 6, and 12 months, and I’ll document all the results here.
