I have another example. This motorcycle model page, https://motozilla.com.ua/model/Lifan+LF125-200/, struggled to reach the top 10 for a long time. The screenshot shows its rankings staying in roughly the same range.
I prepared a content brief for the category, then had a text written and published with a clear structure, photos, image alt text, and a video—the whole package 😀 Nothing else was changed. After Google reindexed the page and I checked the rankings, they had moved up ☝️ Some people might call it a wall of text, but that doesn’t bother me.
When I shared an earlier example of text content working, people said in the comments, “Getting into the top 30 with text is one thing. What about the top 10?” I think it comes down to competition for each search query. For some queries, good text is enough to reach the top 10; for others, the page may remain around the top 30 🙃
However you look at it, this is another example of textual relevance still mattering to Google. So if you’re wondering whether to write content for your online store’s catalogue, I’d say it’s worth doing )
