Now that the website is almost fully optimized internally, many blog posts with anchor links to category pages have been published, and around 10,000 product pages have received an indexing boost, it’s time to move on to our favorite part: backlinks.
I’m currently giving them special priority. Here is my strategy:
- Select two category pages.
- Build different types of backlinks and establish consistent link growth.
- Strengthen everything with homepage backlinks.
- Monitor how the pages respond.
- Repeat the entire cycle month after month until the pages reach the TOP 10 or TOP 5.
- Leave the other categories alone and focus exclusively on these two.
- Analyze which other categories begin to grow at the same time.
😍 Add them to the wishlist for the next promotion cycle. - Once the two categories reach the top positions, reduce the intensity and push them toward the TOP 3 or TOP 1. At the same time, add another two categories from the wishlist and promote them using the same approach until they also reach the top.
This approach gives each category an initial boost, keeps the focus on only two pages, and allows me to gradually add two new categories at a time. It also helps me assess the competition and ranking difficulty. If a category fails to move after three months, I stop working on it and switch to the next one.
For now, I’ve decided to promote two categories: the main “Vibrators” category and “Rabbit Vibrators.” The rabbit vibrator category has already reached the TOP 5 and TOP 3. The main vibrator category hasn’t achieved the same results yet. It’s more difficult to rank because the competition is higher. I may eventually abandon it and move on to another category with less competition. It looks like I made the wrong choice when I selected it.
