My dating site targeting Poland has started receiving its first impressions. High-authority submission backlinks are working again — this time for this GEO as well.
This actually debunks the myth that backlinks from one GEO cannot work in another. It’s nothing more than a misconception. In my experience, backlinks from English-language websites work for both CIS countries and Poland.
Would you be upset if Forbes or The Guardian linked to your website? 🙂 I don’t think so. The logic is the same here — the websites are simply different and have their own DR and traffic metrics.
So don’t be afraid to build backlinks from websites targeting other GEOs. This is especially true if you’re working with international markets such as Brazil or Germany. Backlinks from US or Canadian websites can work perfectly well — trust and link equity are passed in the same way 🙂
