What have I learned so far?
1) I’ve learned that Tier 1 GEOs are the best. First-time deposits in these markets pay more than $200 per player. In Latin America, for example, the payout is around $25–40. However, there is competition everywhere, and you need to invest roughly the same effort into link building in both markets. In Tier 1, you can generate one deposit and earn $250. To make the same $250 in LATAM, you need much more traffic and a lot more work)
2) I’ve learned that websites on .com domains are indexed and ranked more easily in English-speaking countries and Europe. They also start generating impressions and clicks without backlinks. Things are much worse in Asia and Latin America: I have many websites that have been sitting in Google Search Console for three months without receiving any impressions.
3) I’ve learned that the main challenge isn’t attracting traffic—it’s finding the right combination between a website built around a specific brand and the offer that converts that traffic best. Every brand you target is a separate universe. When players search for it on Google, they already have their own perception of the brand and certain expectations about what they want to see. When redirecting them to another offer, you need to understand their mindset and make sure your offer matches their expectations as closely as possible.
4) I’ve learned that if a small number of clicks doesn’t generate registrations or deposits, scaling the traffic won’t fix the problem. If you send 100 clicks and the registration and deposit rates are poor, they’re unlikely to improve simply because you increase the volume.
5) I’ve learned that complaints about the use of other companies’ logos, trademarks, and other materials published on your websites arrive regularly. You need to take this into account and prepare a clear action plan in advance.
