Google is currently rolling out a spam update. Today, I checked Search Console and noticed something interesting: traffic is beginning to recover on the websites from my AI content experiment, which I’ve already covered in more than 10 posts.
As a reminder, these are the websites where I uploaded 100–150 posts to each site in a single day. Google initially gave them traffic, but then everything dropped back to zero.
Now that the spam update is rolling out, a couple of these websites are clearly coming back to life and starting to receive traffic again. It will be interesting to see what happens to them next and how the update affects the other websites in the network.
