Does Anyone Still Use Keyword Density When Preparing Content Briefs for Copywriters or AI?
I haven’t used this metric for about five years. Maybe I’ve been ignoring it for nothing? 🙂
Lately, I’ve been working with ChatGPT to dive deeper into on-page content optimization and improve the content on single-brand website pages. I’m trying to understand how to create content that Google will value, using Google’s own documentation and recommendations as guidance.
For example, I’m studying how to update content properly: which dates to use, when to change them, where to display them, and how this affects rankings and crawling. I’m also learning how to work with tables and images, and I keep discovering new things that I plan to implement.
For instance, ChatGPT says that Google’s AI has recently become capable of fully interpreting information contained in images and screenshots.
In other words, it can recognize text and visual content, identify a screenshot of a service interface, and understand the information shown in it. If you generate an image with AI, Google can recognize that the interface is fake rather than real. If it is a screenshot from an official website, Google can recognize it as authentic. In short, there are countless nuances like these. They make you rethink your approach to content creation instead of simply generating a text with ChatGPT, uploading it to a website with random images, forgetting about it for a year, and waiting for a miracle 🙂
What useful content strategies do you use on your websites? What do you consider essential, and what do you ignore? What works for you?
Wishing everyone plenty of backlinks and top rankings!
